Kristina is a triple threat creative with a BFA in Commercial Dance and a minor in Psychology from Pace University. They grew up in a suburb outside of Seattle called Auburn, Washington as the oldest of four siblings. They started dancing at the age of three, with most of their studio training occurring at Allegro Performing Arts Academy in Kent, Washington. They were also a part of high school choir as well as their middle school drama club, but Kristina’s love for musical theatre wasn’t really discovered until they moved to New York in 2019 to attend Pace University.

At Pace, Kristina participated actively in academic life as a tour guide and teacher’s aid. They also worked as a Cycle Bar employee at the front desk! Kristina was a member of the Pforzheimer Honors College and graduated with Honors after presenting their thesis titled You Can Laugh: Dance As A Cause and Form of Therapy. It was a combination of their love for dance and their interest in psychology. During October of their senior year, Kristina got the dream call that they had booked WICKED on Broadway! They quit all of their “survival jobs” and started rehearsals for WICKED while finishing their undergraduate degree at Pace. Kristina was in class during the day and on Broadway at night!

In the two weeks before graduation, Kristina started rehearsals for the new Broadway musical Here Lies Love. They did what is called “double duty” where they rehearsed for the new show during the day and then they performed in WICKED at night. They were also in the throws of presenting their thesis, so it was certainly a chaotic two weeks. Here Lies Love opened in July 2023 and closed in November. After which, Kristina returned to WICKED but this time in a new ensemble track! During that stint, they became a vacation swing for the company which was always a dream of Kristina’s.

Most recently, Kristina can be seen as one of the swings/covers in Jamie Lloyd’s Sunset Blvd. It has been an absolute honor of a show for them to be apart of, and they have learned so much being a swing for the first time in a Broadway show.

Kristina also publishes their writing on Substack! There, you can read more of Kristina’s thoughts and subscribe for free if you wish to read more.

In addition to their creative endeavors, Kristina is an entrepreneur. They have a process called Get to Werk: Marketing for Creatives which aims to help actors and creative artists rebrand themselves and gain better traction on their materials so that they increase their chances of being hired!
